linger over chocolate longer
The week from hell is over…. I’m so excited. I had to stay up all night last night and work on my Applied Theology paper, my Teaching Elementary Music lesson, and my Music Theory III exam. Let me tell you, it was pure torture. Especially after a week of spending like 6 hours a day on homework. I got to sleep this afternoon. It was so beautiful. And I’m going to sleep tonight until at least 3pm tomorrow.
Being a student is rough… I have a hard time believing life after college will be this rough. How can it be? I work and take 21.5 credits, teach children’s church, lead like a freshman mentoring program, play piano for about a million zillion things. I’m missing the days of being a freshman where if I ever stayed up late it was to talk to my best friend about India and elephants and eat Ramen. Ah.
